CONTRACT: Fixed-term until 31/07/2025.

CITY & COUNTRY: Bucharest, Romania

ROLE SUMMARY

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Order to Cash Manager is responsible of leading a team of GBS ENAOrder to Cash Assistant Managers in delivering specific tasks and activities according to agreed procedures and SLAs, ensuring a strong knowledge management framework, a continuous improvement mindset in the teams, monitoring and actioning of KPI’s to achieve targets, while ensuring adherence to the controls framework. He/she will be supervise onbording of new joiners, drive continuous development of team members, team engagement, training/coaching and maintaining a close relationship with end markets stakeholders/customers.

The outcomes of the role will have direct positive impact in efficient resource management, continuous improvement project delivery, customer satisfaction, people engagement, SLA & process quality delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, organize and supervise teams in area of responsibility, ensuring quality of the outputs, creating a positive work environment that fosters team performance and cultivating a customer-oriented mindset
  • Ensure that GBS ENA Order to Cash managed teams, deliver O2C services, to internal & external customers, according to agreed procedures and SLAs
  • Set process performance objectives and ensure direct reports implement and drive a consistent performance management framework
  • Ensure key performance indicators are monitored and action is taken to achieve targets, by identifying root causes for low performance and putting in place remediation actions
  • Offering support & being involved in the migration of specific activities from end markets to GBS ENA Order to Cash
  • Initiating, leading and implementing specific Order to Cash continuous improvement actions/projects
  • Maintain a close relationship with end markets stakeholders/customers and proactively identifying and solving any potential issues that may arise
  • Maintain a robust control environment by ensuring adherence to the Sox framework and internal controls
  • Responsible for end markets satisfaction level regarding the quality of own teams’ deliverables
  • Short to medium term strategy for managed teams/processes

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • At least 2 years of experience in a shared services/BPO/ Finance organization with minimum 1 year of experience in the O2C/Accounts Receivable or similar area;
  • Solid SAP or similar ERP knowledge, Microsoft Office knowledge;
  • Good knowledge of Subledger processes across regions and the impact between functional teams;
  • Solid functional knowledge in Cash Application area is a plus;
  • Training experience, leading onboarding sessions for new joiners is a plus;
  • Detailed understanding of the cross-departmental impact;
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and apply high professional standards;
  • Support a result-oriented problem-solving approach;
  • Familiar with a SOX/non SOX controlled environment;
  • Strong organizing and communication abilities in terms of Team Management;

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a FMCG multinational environment in multiple transactional finance roles from which at least 2 years in the Accounts Receivable/Order to cash area
  • Minimum 3 years previous people management experience, managed at least 2 different teams in his/her experience, previous experience in leading 1st level people managers is a strong advantage
  • Coaching abilities, proven track record on growing others
  • Ability to successfully lead multiple teams in a hybrid working environment
  • Ability to work with all levels within the organization to solve complex business issues and implement process improvement initiatives
  • Hands on, willing to deep dive, understand issues root causes and design and implement solutions
  • Able to manage and drive change
  • Able to work on multiple assignments, skilled and experienced at prioritizing tasks to deliver under tight deadlines
  • Stakeholder engagement & presentation skills, able to easily interact with and influence senior leadership
