British American Tobacco has a new exciting opportunity for a  Internal Communication Coordinator to be based in Algiers .


This role is responsible for developing and executing sophisticated internal communications plans for several different functions across the company – ensuring that relevant internal audiences are briefed on the main issues that affect our business or the relevant function.


Principal Accountabilities : 



  • Develop and manage internal communications plans following consultation with the Senior Internal Communications Manager
  • Execute all elements of an internal comms campaign to a high standard
  • Responsible for generating all written content across multiple channels
  • Ensure and monitor the effective implementation of the internal campaigns
  • Assist the Senior Internal Communications Managers with larger scale projects and work requests


Key Success Factors : 


  • Internal Communication plans successfully delivered on time and budget
  • High quality written materials produced
  • Global and functional audiences are well-informed – with feedback demonstrating that their understanding on key issues has improved
  • Good teamwork taking place across wider Corporate Communications team



Key Requirements:


  • Mid-level Internal Communications professional with proven experience in comparable global internal communications roles.
  • Experience of managing Internal Communications through a variety of channels to reach large audiences in diverse locations
  • Good knowledge of contemporary internal communications good practice, including channels, tools, message development and measurement, with ability to innovate and implement new ideas
  • Ability to execute all elements of an internal communication campaign to a high standard
  • Ability to generate written content is essential, for example: speeches, core scripts, materials for the global intranet etc
  • Ability to understand how internal communication project activities need to integrate with all other communication and corporate activities
  • Good analytical skills
  • Flexibility, and ability to adjust to change and constantly changing work requests
  • Proven consultancy and advisory skills
  • Sound understanding of British American Tobacco’s business, issues and organisational structures or ability rapidly to acquire it
  • Excellent and proven team work skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work unsupervised where applicable
  • High quality written and verbal communication skills in fluent Arabic , french and English
  • In regular situation with military services
  • University degree or equivalent.
