We currently have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Netherlands commercial team based in our offices in Amstelveen. As part of the NEA (Northern Europe Area) HR team and reporting into the NEA Head of HR, the main responsibility of the HRBP is to own and drive the NEA people agenda in order to support the commercial plans for the Netherlands. The HRBP ensures consistency on company level in key HR processes through close working relationships with line management, NEA HR and Leadership team, regional stakeholders and HR Shared Services Team based in Romania. An important part of the generalist responsibilities is to drive/lead the Reward, Talent Management, and Change Management activities within the Dutch commercial entity.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Closely work with line managers to guide and support them on employee relation matters and relevant Talent Management Processes (Performance Management, Development, Talent Reviews)
  • Drive local employer brand and other Talent Acquisition activities, including support of the Line in the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate and manage employee relation matters with trade unions, works councils, regional reward.
  • Manage local reward initiatives, educate line managers and employees on reward-related topics and apply regional reward frameworks.
  • Initiate HR policy review and policy changes in line with business agenda & labor law developments.
  • Manage the HR Executive to ensure smooth & correct payroll.
  • Support the HR Executive to oversee the Headcount reporting and employment cost tracking process
  • Pro-actively participate and lead selected HR related projects across NEA.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

 

  • University Degree or similar in Business administration/HR Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in general HR position
  • Experience with Dutch Labor Law regulations
  • Experience with Employee relations and work council negotiations
  • Previous experience in an international setting, ideally in a matrix organization
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with hands-on mentality ability to focus on priorities in a dynamic surrounding
  • Able to cope effectively under pressure
  • Ability to establish trustful internal and external relationships
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic
  • Fluency in English is a must, fluency in Dutch an advantage
