An exciting opportunity has become available for a Research and Insights Executive to join our Planning and Insights team, based in Auckland.

Reporting to the Research and Insights Manager, you will assist with the collation, interpretation and communication of consumer insights and analysis, providing recommendations to inform business decision making.  You will also be responsible for the coordination and provision of business insight and foresight through the analysis of multiple data sources, along with the management and delivery of key data and reporting collateral to internal stakeholders. 

 

As Research and Insights Executive you will have responsibility for the successful execution and coordination of relevant research projects, delivering timely and business relevant outputs, aligned to the research project briefs.  You will also have accountability for managing field work agencies and data providers to ensure timely delivery of agreed outputs.    You will be working within a small highly motivated team within a dynamic Planning and Insights Team where you will also have influence, responsibility and exciting opportunities for genuine career growth and development, including the potential for rewarding international career opportunities.

 

To make this role your own, you'll be degree qualified in Marketing or a related discipline and have at least 3 years’ previous FMCG experience with a background in research within the FMCG sector, and/or come from a role within a research agency or data analytics company. 

 

With the demonstrated ability to extract, interpret, and analyse multiple disparate data sources, you’ll be detail oriented, with effective organisation, coordination and forward planning skills.  You’ll have a thorough knowledge of research methodologies and processed used in FMCG and a robust understanding of research agency operations. 

 

In addition, you’ll have exceptional technical skills (across the MS Suite and data visualisation tools including PowerBI / Tableau), attention to detail and time management.  A solutions focused approach, and the ability to work in a matrix organisation will be critical to your success in this role.  This role may require some travel however this will be infrequent.
