We are looking for a Research Executive to join our team and to fulfil the Marketing Research and Information function within the company by conducting consumer and trade research projects and to provide related tactical and strategic advice and guidance to the Management Team on market dynamics to support business decision-making.

 

The job holder is expected to:

  • Evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of research projects based on key user requirements, ORACLE guidelines and information needs.
  • Manage market research and analysis with full compliance to ORACLE, SYNCHRO & IRIS guidelines.
  • Proactive co-ordination with research partners/agency to develop an appropriate, cost-effective and high quality work.
  • Ensure the marketing insights and information platforms (processes and systems) is fit-for-purpose to support informed decision making.
  • Track behavior of consumer and customer segments, providing high level, meaningful insights into segment definition (eg. through retail audit)
  • Manage, implement, control, analyze, interpret and report consumer and trade research projects following related guidelines and in quantifiable business performance terms, within the time and budget.
  • Prepare short and long term marketing forecasts and competitive business scenarios based on comprehensive and high quality marketing information
  • Continuous analysis of consumer and market trends to identify and recommend new business opportunities to Management team.
  • Support SP&I department with preparing presentation on market/consumer/customer insights. To be able to interpret findings and explain complex issues in simple terms.
  • Maintain and analyze information’s related to competitors, consumers, customers, brand, trade, regions and touch points to identify and recommend to SP&I Manager and the Marketing Team business opportunities within CAU&MD cluster.
  • Support the development of CPM and subsequent input into EMSOP by providing information & presentation slides on consumer & customer segments share progression, regular and ad hoc marketing reporting’s.
  • Ensure that all relevant marketing information is available to meet company business needs and that this is effectively integrated into the management information system and communicated to the Management Team.
  • Build and maintain appropriate marketing information systems with the CAU&MD cluster
  • Maintain a competitor analysis network and supporting information system to enable scenario modelling.
     
    If you have:
  • Higher education;
  • Fluent English language ability;
  • Knowledge of market research techniques, both qualitative and quantitative;
  • Highly IT literate and versed in specialist statistical analytical packages;
  • Proficiency in advanced statistical and forecasting techniques;
  • Effective negotiation, communication and presentation skills: can interpret research findings and generate sound conclusions and recommendations
  • Advance knowledge of MS Excel to be able to work with big data
  • Experience in managing a research/information budget and in selecting and managing external suppliers (research, IT and analysis agencies);
  • In depth understanding of consumer and trade research data sources, i.e. strengths and limitations;
  • Experience of interpreting marketing information data and presenting conclusions to senior management;
  • Effective communication and influencing skills;
  • Capability to manage logistics and resources of simultaneous projects;
  • High level of attention to detail, thorough analytical skills, rational decision making, objectivity, creativity and good negotiation capacity;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and being a ‘team player’
