We are currently looking for a Flying Trade Marketing Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, you will:

  • Deliver distribution, share of shelf, and sales in line with or ahead of targets
  • Minimize Out of Stocks using the applicable Route to Market for each channel and checks and protects product quality and freshness
  • Implement cycle marketing activities on time in full, including securing distribution of new products
  • Develop and implement plans that drive volume & share growth of BAT brands with maximum ROI
  • Encourage sell out by running local activities that educate retail partners on marketing levers and the importance of Tobacco and NGP categories to their trade
  • Efficiently manage business and financial assets (vehicle, IT, materials, stock (if applicable), cash, budgets)
  • Gather and report on any competitor activity or intelligence
  • Excellence in quality of execution and communication (TMR to Retailer Training, POSM placement, Overall category knowledge)
  • Build retailer advocacy through education and rewards to drive awareness and trial for BAT brands in Tobacco and NGP

You :

  • Are commited to achieve outstanding results
  • Are able to travel across Belgium
  • Fully understand and have capabilities to deal with different channels – Domestic, Border, ASU30, NGP
  • Have knowledge and understanding of Marketing principles and approaches
  • Have great rapport building and communication skills. 
  • Are able to plan, prioritize and organize your own work and monitor progress v target to ensure objectives are delivered on time and in full
  • Are able to work alone and remain self-motivated as most of the time you will be working independently, whilst also demonstrating ability to work effectively as part of a team, building effective, collaborative working relationships with immediate

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Preferably graduate, or of graduate caliber, with potential and desire to progress within the company.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial roles
  • Verbal and written fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • Computer literacy (Windows office, CRM)
  • A full valid Belgium driving license
