BAT GLOBAL BUSINESS SERVICES IS LOOKING FOR A Knowledge Management & Business Continuity Process Manager

SENIORITY LEVEL: Management

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for defining the strategy, framework and tools needed to support a knowledge-based culture within GBS as well as driving the BCP process and ensuring it is embedded within GBS in line with BAT’s risk management framework and policies. Also this role has to manage and share information within the organization and with GBS customers while maintaining compliance standards and provide management and discipline to the Business Continuity (BC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs.

 

Reports to: Planning & Performance Management Lead

Reporting Level: Management

Geographic Scope: ENA Global Business Services

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

 

  • Working together with functional leads and global process leads on determining knowledge management requirements, content and media used for communication;
  • Maintaining and continuously improving knowledge and information base managed by GBS to make sure that all BAT users have easy access to effective and relevant information;
  • Acting as the owner of BCP management process within GBS working closely with relevant leadership and functional teams;
  • Design and drive training programs within GBS for both Knowledge Management and BCP to ensure all GBS employees are fully aware;
  • Work with partners, project managers, delivery managers to deliver knowledge and enablement process improvements;
  • Improve people leadership capabilities through performance appraisals and development plans;
  • Embed a culture of constant focus on people development and growth;
  • Drive continuous improvement culture within their area.

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Experience in learning and development, sales enablement, marketing, or editorial domains.
  • Certification or coursework in Knowledge Management, Information Management, or Library Sciences.
  • Project Management and Process Improvement experience
  • Certified as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) is a plus.
  • Experience in implementing change/implementation techniques and tools, project management.
