Role Summary


The Social Media Executive plays a key role in the successful planning and implementation of digital and social marketing strategies for BAT Bangladesh. You will help create innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, email, and social together to provide solutions based on consumer insight and data.  You will then bring those ideas to life and deliver fully integrated campaigns in market.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop B2B & B2C digital activities to drive business awareness, generate a customer pipeline and increase inquiry volume. 
  • Manage our online strategies and create fresh and relevant brand and consumer content updates.
  • Drive creative development and campaign execution delivering strong digital content activations across social and digital platforms.
  • Grow your knowledge of social and digital strategies and activation best practices by collaborating with company stake holders and external agencies and vendors.
  • Create content marketing and Social Media Strategies (both on & off cycle) to capture new customers while increasing volume of inbound inquiries.
  • Analyze and optimize social and digital campaigns based on analytics tools and software.


Key Requirements


  • 3+ years working experience in Digital Marketing for B2C business, preferably working in FMCG companies or in advertisement agencies working for FMCG companies
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders and create/engage with external network of industry and consumer influencers
  • Be consumer-focused and demonstrate interest and ability to understand and engagement target markets unique to each brand
  • Must have clear understanding and capability (or demonstrate ability and interest to learn) online web strategy, execution and analytics; SEO; SEM, marketing processes, including lead generation; social media marketing including SNS strategy; contents optimization using these and other digital tools
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to execute the project and make sure the target message reaches the audience
