ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The primary responsibility of the  Financial Planning Manager  role is to proactively manage and deliver the Group´s management and statutory reporting information.  This management and statutory reporting information will include financial data and scenarios, budget information for both P&L and cash flow as well as assumptions and other data inputs related to the forecasting process. It will also run analysis for actual vs forecast variations, responsible to provide useful insights that supports decision-making process working with stakeholders to ensure compliance of all reporting requirements including regional and local. In addition, developing & maintaining key performance indicators dashboards to proactively provide visibility on the performance of the different metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Review financial statements for actual/planning reporting and approve weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate Bi-Annual forecast planning cycles and financial reviews.
• Coordinate Bi-Annual /half year/full year reporting cycles and financial reviews.
• Monitor performance and sensitivities on a monthly basis across all P&L lines for actuals, budget, latest forecasts and prior years for every end market.
• Review and provide accurate and timely monthly variance data and root cause analysis for volume, revenue and cost of sales.
• Promote standardization, automation and simplification of processes which fall within the boundaries of the Planning & Reporting area.
• Ensure a controlled environment for the Planning & Reporting Team to prevent any potential control breaches
• Manage and lead team and provide coaching.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• At least 5 year’s of experience, as a Finance Manager  or similar role.
• Solid understanding of Accounting and planning software, such as SAP.
• Solid understanding knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel.
• Great attention to detail with ability to spot numerical errors;
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
• Rational decision making and problem-solving ability is crucial.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. or Economics or related fields.
• Proficient English Spanish.
