BAT PAKISTAN IS LOOKING FOR A BRAND MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Mid – Senior Level

FUNCTION: Marketing

LOCATION: Pakistan

 

 

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible in developing, communicating and implementing successful brand strategies and activities that excite and engage consumers.
 

Reports to: Group Brand Manager

Geographic Scope: Local

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Develop and execute an operational brand plan to meet brand objectives and customer requirements.
  • Create strategies that align to overall brand portfolio and business strategies and focus on achieving brand objectives.
  • Involve agencies in planning processes where appropriate.
  • Ensure brand executives are trained and motivated to analyse and support the development and implementation of brand programmes.
  • Propose goals and KPIs for brand programmes and track ongoing results.
  • Manage budgets and help to develop sales forecasts for allocated brands.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven leader with the ability to motivate, coach, develop people and coordinating large, diverse teams.
  • An effective communicator and presenter with the presence to influence and negotiate effectively
  • A strategic thinker and confident decision maker with strong project management skills  
  • Degree in business or marketing with a sound foundation in commerce and quantitative analysis
  • Brand marketing experience gained in an FMCG environment, together with any trade marketing or key account management experience, would be a plus.
  • Experience of leading the creation of effective brand marketing programmes and cross category marketing.
  • Have knowledge of developing trade communication programmes
  • Experience in brand positioning and proposition development
