This role is expected to be filled in by a finance professional with high commercial acumen and cost control awareness, who can act as a finance business partner to the trade team. Primary responsibility lies in assisting the trade team to ensure spend governance & control and financially asses the feasibility of different trade margin & initiatives. Assisting them to take commercially sound decisions which optimizes the resources planned for different channels of sales. Also responsible for constant resource allocating to fund cost effective solutions, periodic reviews to check if the trade investments is not overriding own margins & reporting trade investments in the required global platforms/formats. Leads a team of one person and is responsible for identifying and executing necessary development interventions required for the capability development of the person.

 

 

2.            PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

The role is based in Bentoel Group’s Head Office, currently in Jakarta, Indonesia is responsible to:

 

a)       Create robust audit & compliance plan based on risk approach in an efficient manner.

b)      Aligning the audit & compliance approach with the business priority & strategy.

c)       Giving constructive insights on the business process (SOP) & cycle instructions, based on findings in the audit & compliance field work.

d)      Regular coaching session with team members focusing on capability development.

e)       Constant monitoring of retail investments.      

f)        Constructively challenge route to market and trade investment ideas to ensure right prioritization of investment.

               

 

3.            WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

 

The role will mainly interface and work with:

 

(a) Marketing Finance sub functions (Brand Finance, Trade Finance, National Admin)

(b) Trade team of Marketing Function        

(c) Trade team of Marketing Function in area Sales Office

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

 

a)       Minimum Bachelor Degree (S1) or equivalent (preferable from accounting or finance) with minimum 5 years of work experience in accounting or finance positions.

b)      Qualified accountant preferable.

c)       Experienced in doing audit & compliance, especially on the process for sales, finished good management and customer management.

d)      Strong knowledge and understanding of FMCG business model especially with trade & sales team.            

e)       Knowledge of tobacco industry is an added advantage

a)       Strong & effective leadership while maintaining right level of attention to detail.

b)      Strong team player with excellent interpersonal & communication skills.              

c)       Ability to work with all levels of staff and management across functions

d)      Proactive and open to change & new ideas.     

e)       Able to work in a disciplined and cohesive manner with the trade team.

f)        Willing to travel within Indonesia.
