Lead the implementation of Industrial Relation for the end-to-end business process (from seed to sell) while engaging and collaborating with all business partners in order to contribute towards improved productivity and employee harmonization for long term sustainability of the business. First point of contact for all Industrial Relation matters inclusive of employee relation and external relation.


  • Lead and collaborate with Business Partner during CLA (Collective Labor Agreement) negotiations and play a key role in concluding it on a win/win note while incorporating all agreed productivity targets and initiatives.
  • Lead and ensure the smoothness of redundancy projects across function.
  • Managing a collaborative relationship with Union as the representative from the company
  • Responsible for keeping Management abreast of the trends and changes in labour legislation and provide guidance for timely compliance.
  • Settlement Negotiations, Day to Day CLA engagement. 
  • Manage Industrial cases throughout the business and being collaborative with other function in settling cases
  • Ensure and maintain external relationship including but not limited to, government offices.


Essential requirements


  • Sound educational background preferably in Law background and well versed with HR Concepts. Possess the Leadership capability to lead people during massive redundancy projects. Possess strong administrative skills to effectively handle day to day problems in a constantly changing environment. Possess wide business knowledge to understand corporate objectives and to be able to establish clear goals and direction consistent with the Company's vision mission and strategy.
  • High learning agility coupled with sound knowledge of Labour Laws. Relevant experience of Collective Bargaining in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to build connection and influence the external body, including but not limited to labor-related government officials
  • Sound inter personal skills e.g. influencing, communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and externally. Multi-linguistic, fluency of Pushto is preferable
  • Better understanding of the labour law to enable him to provide correct and timely legal advice to all the departments for avoiding labour disturbances.  Effective and prompt communication link with the management and the Union to quickly address IR issue if any. 
  • Timely resolution of individual or collective grievances agitated by the Union and ensures that such resolutions are in conformity with the Company policy, labour laws and existing work practices.
  • Ability to educate the Union members regarding Company Plans to ensure that the Company objectives are achieved. 





  • Build, Maintain & leverage relationship with Union to ensure accomplishment of Company's Priorities / Goals while facilitating Discipline, Industrial Peace and Harmony.
  • Synergise with other functions/departments to help deliver solutions that are relevant to the business needs and in line with the Company Strategy.
  • Maintain good working relationship with all External stakeholders including but not limited to Government functionaries, Labour Department, EOBI & Social Security authorities to ensure employee welfare while maintaining the image of the Company.


  • Actively contribute in devising innovative solutions to optimize labour relations and improve productivity during all labour-management settlements/decisions.
  • Supporting factory team in creating winning environment for continuous improvement in processes and productivity, while supporting team activities for ensuring a winning corporate culture and quality of service rendered to the customers.
