Purpose Statement

Working as part of a flexible/agile team, the Reward Analyst supports the Group Reward Analytics and Design Manager, Process Leads, wider Reward community in the provision of analysis, support, reporting and data.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the Reward Analytics and Design team in undertaking detailed analysis as part of reward investigations / enquiries. (Such work can have multiple points of initiation – e.g., from business facing Reward Managers, central changes to reward policy etc.)
  • Support demand management and service delivery of technical analysis / design, providing a fit-for-purpose analytical service to business facing Reward Managers highlighting local impact.
  • Proactively gather / acquire relevant input data from end-markets, Centre and external reward providers and process relevant data to input into analytics / investigations.
  • Conduct research / data analysis, both internal and external (including benchmark studies) and present the results clearly and creatively to help the Process Lead and business facing Reward Managers.
  • Support the Process Lead in maintaining fit-for-purpose reward data management, process maps, and frameworks ensuring a consistent approach is undertaken.
  • Support the delivery of timely and accurate reward reporting in line with externally driven regulation (e.g., gender pay reporting) including first-line commentary to ensure BAT meets its external reporting obligations.
  • Develop, maintain and run reward reports to meet statutory and internal reporting requirements.
  • Proactively respond to ad-hoc requests for reward data, to aid decision-making and process management.
  • Support the Reward Analytics and Design team’s working relationships with GBS, collaborating with GBS colleagues in the deployment of system improvements in-line with changes to reward policies.
  • Support the development and deployment of reward capability and communication materials.
  • As part of an agile team of Reward Analysts, undertake reward projects from time-to-time as required.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Computer Science Degree
  • Generalist Reward experience preferred.
  • Strong Excel/VBA skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail and excellent execution capabilities.
  • Strong English language (written and oral)
  • Ability to work in a global capacity / virtual working to ensure seamless delivery and execution across time zones.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and matrixed organization, navigating complexity to deliver seamlessly.
