Business Manager for Licensed Brands

 

 

 

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES COVER THE FOLLOWING:

The Business Manager for Licensed Brands for leads the Strategy Development and Strategy Implementation of a Multi-Category portfolio of products and brands in close cooperation with the Licensor.

  • Establish a profound consumer- and market insights base for the Licensed Brands Portfolio
  • Develop Marketing strategies for the Licensed Brands Portfolio across product categories and the four marketing Ps (Product, Pricing, Promotion, Placement)
  • Develop actionable operational Marketing plans based on the strategic intent
  • Lead the Licensed Brands in implementation of the operational plans expressed in 360 brand activation
  • Track and report portfolio, brand and activity performance vs. agreed commercial targets
  • Handle budget allocation and management across categories, brands and marketing initiatives in close alignment with the Licensor
  • Lead, develop and coach the team of 4 Junior Brand Managers
  • Foster a close and trustful relationship with the Licensor, being the Licensors first point of contact with regards to their Swiss operations

 

ABOUT YOU:

The Business Manager for Licensed Brands is an experienced marketing professional with commercial acumen with a proven track record in portfolio- and brand management. He is experienced in managing external partners and leading internal teams.

  • University degree in Marketing
  • English (spoken and written)
  • 5-7 years of professional marketing experience in FMCG
  • Experience in Team leadership and development
  • Sound understanding of business imperatives and strong business acumen
  • Experience in Marketing strategy formulation and deployment
  • Experience in Agency Leadership
  • Experience beyond the field of Brand Marketing (Finance, Operations, Trade Marketing)
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
