BAT UK IS LOOKING FOR A DIGITAL AND MEDIA ACTIVATION DEPLOYMENT EXECUTIVE

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

We are looking for an executive to join our UKI Marketing Activation Team for BAT UK. As a valued member of our team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities within each of the respective channels, while ensuring that all regulations and business restrictions in the individual end markets are respected. The Digital and Media Activation Deployment Executive will be continuously working with our agencies to drive a seamless delivery of all assets, campaigns, objectives, learnings and BAU, through all relevant channels. There is a key focus on Paid MediaS and Social Media.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Work with the Digital and Media Activation Deployment Manager to deliver against channel targets. Support the Digital and Media Activation Deployment Manager with the NWEA Digital Team, to ensure UK is the best performing market within BAT.
  • The Activation Deployment Executive for Digital and Media in UK&I works across all the activities within the digital and media channels, for Modern Oral (and other brands, not limited to MO). It includes the following channels:
    • Paid Media
    • Social Media
    • Out of Home (where applicable)
    • Opinion shapers
    • PR (where applicable)
  • Lead respective agencies to define the digital and media approach for each channel, and be the day-to-day point of contact for agencies.
  • Deliver on posting schedule for Social Media channels. Content calendars to be ready no less than 2 weeks prior to month beginning.
  • Work with the Brand team to deliver digital media plans for campaign activity and ensure that digital assets are created.
  • Assist on all Digital and Media (multi-category) specific campaigns. Ensure all Digital and Media channels are delivering on time and in full
  • Deliver against the Line Managers channel KPI’s (assessed weekly). Provides status update on a weekly basis to Line Manager.
  • Assist with building the strategy for each Digital and Media respective channel.

 

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you have experience with Paid Media?
  • Have you used Social Media Management platforms before?
  • Have you worked with agencies?

 

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • At least 3 years of experience with a background in Paid Media marketing, either on an agency or client side.
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Social Media, either on an agency or client side.
  • At least 2 years’ experience building activation campaigns (preferably within the United Kingdom).
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence - working with and managing multiple stakeholders (internal and external agencies), while having to prioritize often conflicting requirements and escalate issues to drive resolution when required.
  • A skilled Digital and Media channel person, you will be able to spot opportunities to drive growth whilst maximizing ROI through all BAU and paid activities. 
  • Peer-to-Peer learning and coaching mindset.
  • Languages - English (fluent) with good written skills.
  • University Degree.

 

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience in working across marketing technology platforms including Ad servers, CDPs, DSP’s and Social Media Management tools.
  • Experienced in utilizing data and analytics to build actionable insights (leading to better ROI)
  • Experience in working with complex brands and driving content campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate target consumers to take action.
  • Experienced in managing agencies/clients.
  • Having previously worked with opinion shapers.
