TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
Lead / contribute to:
  • Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting & documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation
  • Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed best practicesProviding input to and/or assist in
  • Preparing account plans, budget proposals, resourcing plans and project plans
  • Creation and maintenance of IT strategies
  • Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic / operational / project plans
  • Understanding the overall Enterprise Architecture and assess degree of conformance of existing  and new  business processes
  • Overseeing implementation of solutions – checking against the initial requirements
 
ROLE SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITY
 
  • Understanding of Brand, SP&I processes (eg. Brand Code, Demand Forecasting, and Marketing Reporting etc.)
  • Technical experience with core toolsets supporting functional team (eg. BI reporting & analytic tools, AC Nielsen, APO DF etc.)
  • Experience with consumer marketing specifically with supporting global brands through technology (eg. brand applications, CRM etc.)
  • Experience managing global stakeholders and partnering with end markets
  • Experience in enabling revenue growth using imulti category nsights provided by emerging technologies such as Cloud Analytics
  • Understanding of the legal and reuglatory framework for dealing with consumer data.
  • Experience in working in an agile environment

  • Enterprise Architects – understand overall enterprise architecture and collaborate to ensure conformance of to the architecture
  • Solution Architects -  collaborate on the selection and development of solutions
  • Solution Delivery – collaborate to ensure solutions meet the business requirements
  • Project Managers – contribute to project plans and ensure deliverables are produced to time, cost & quality
  • Planning – support the development of IT plans and budgets
  • Business Partners and Business Unit IT managers – collaborate on the provision of professional BA services in line with agreed  priorities of the business
  • Business units (regions, end markets) / Business Functions  - work closely to develop business requirements and  oversee implementation of solutions
  • IT functional managers / Project Managers / Business reps – collaborate in the execution  of planning and analysis services and delivery of required outputs
  • 3rd Party Vendors – non-commercial supplier relationships focussed on operational / project activities
 
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE
 
  • Business-facing IT experience in a global environment, preferably with a degree in an IT-related discipline
  • Ability to interpret the business IT and functional strategies, understand the Group operating model, and the implications actions in one area have on other functions
  • Extensive and substantial practical experience in interpreting business process management and business metrics
  • Understand the background, issues and implications of company and functional strategic imperatives
