Do you have experience offering support to employees at all levels?  If the answer to these questions is yes, then join one of the leading multinational companies in the world.  We are looking for a Channel Activity Reporting and Insights Executive for BAT UK&I.  As a Channel Activity Reporting and Insights Executive, you will be responsible for providing support for our Trade and Sales channels (Traditional and Organised Channels, Vaping Stores and Owned Retail) for combustibles and potentially reduced-risk products (PRRP).

The role also encompasses supporting the Business through the handling of reporting and data analysis requests from other areas of the business.  The role requires someone who can multi-task with strong attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to organise, prioritise workload and be adaptable.  

As an Analytics and Insights Executive you will:

  1. Utilise key insights to identify and assess strategic proposals and to direct informed business decisions.
  2. Own and manage all aspects of trade systems reporting and insights environment.
  3. Provide strategic commercial support to Brand, Activation, Retail and Sales teams
  4. Support all internal stakeholders as required
  5. Provide support to the Field Based Teams on the Power BI reporting system.
  6. Review and update of the Training Materials
  7. Track & Report of Field based team activities
  8. Track & Report Cyclic Activity

Your profile:

  • You have a bachelor degree 
  • You have significant experience in a global FMCG or in a similar dynamic operating environment
  • You have proven strong stakeholder management skills and a thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant reporting and CRM tools and systems (Power BI and Salesforce would be a plus)

Excellent analytical skills

  • A good understanding of other functional areas, e.g. operations and marketing would be an advantage
  • An ability to work effectively with all levels of staff within the company and external parties
  • Ability to handle large volumes of information and present it in an accurate and relevant format
  • Rational decision making, and problem-solving ability are essential
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep to tight deadlines.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Salesforce is our CRM system and is used daily by our field force of over 200+ Trade Marketing Representatives and Owned Retail managers. The system captures store contacts, cycle objectives, product details and allows for both tracking and performance measurement of our Field Force vs. business objectives set.  Salesforce provides a tool for effective and efficient communication between business functions and our sales force on a daily basis.
  • Along with the other data and reporting systems, this provides a backbone of information – giving timely analysis and understanding from the organisation of the market situation. 
  • Knowledge of Power BI or a similar system would be preferable.  Experience of Microsoft packages is essential, particularly Excel as this would be used on a daily basis.
