British American Tobacco is currently looking for new brand activation colleagues. Positions are based in our ambitious and dynamic Brand Activation team in Malmö, Sweden.


The team:

Being at the forefront of the business, the role of the Brand Activation team is to ensure seamless development and delivery of activation plans. It is essential that BAT can recommend activation strategies in accordance with the market trends and drive the transformation of Brand Activation.

The position:

You will support the growth of our brands through step-changing activation and be part of a transformational journey.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Development of brand activation plans for new brand activities to ensure optimal execution and long-term plans for all activities.
  • Identify effective ways to engage through creative marketing activities
  • Develop innovative and impactful activations for consumer communication in different consumer channels in collaboration with the brand teams and agencies
  • Be responsible for you own campaigns from day 1, which include strategy, planning and execution in line with overall BAT Sweden objectives
  • Budget Management: Plan, track and report on brand activation marketing budget aligned with current planning and reporting structure

Essential Requirements:

You possess excellent consulting, communication and engagement skills, coupled with the ability to influence senior stakeholders in establishing / delivering transformational agenda to meet strategic objectives.

Key skills needed in these roles:

  • Excellent understanding of market and consumer dynamics
  • Project management experience
  • Creative and proactive mind-set 
  • Structured with strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point user
  • Able to perform under pressure and in a fast-changing environment


As the ideal candidate you are passionate about brand activation and up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in consumer activation. You will quickly succeed in the role if you have strong analytical skills and are a strategic thinker with the consumer in focus paired with your creative ways to connect offline & online activation.

Experience from the FMCG industry and fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
