Transformation and Business Relationship Function is GBS is the heartbeat of the business being the engine of business transformation, innovation and simplification. As such, it will be critical to have Marketing Transformation Project Managers in GBS, with end market functional experience in the areas of  Marketing, including Brand Marketing, Trade & Distribution Marketing and Strategy, Planning & Insights (SP&I) and also new Marketing Capabilities in areas like Digital Merchandising, Social Content & Media , E-commerce, Consumer and Sales Analytics and Insights, Customer Experience. 


Main purpose of the role is to  support deliver GBS Strategic Road map aligned with Group Transformational agenda and potentially expand GBS scope and services portfolio beyond existing services for Finance and HR under GBS umbrella as we are now exploring together with Japan and US pilots some interesting opportunities to start bringing in services from Marketing Function in GBS and unlock new growth opportunities, and to inspire the organisation to believe in the new approach.

The Role:


  • Portfolio services:  Develop, execute, and monitor marketing programs across a variety of channels. Researching the market, analyzing trends to help defining the organization's marketing strategy, and providing advice as to how to best reach the target market.
  • Povide input into marketing projects in related areas to ensure the timely input of a consumer centric perspective and up to date findings. 
  • Assimilate and analyze data from various sources and a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks to determine appropriate strategy and advise stakeholders on actionable next steps.
  • Support Manager in identifying and recommending new business opportunities through actionable and forward-looking insights delivery.
  • Provide insights to understand consumer behaviour, perceptions and needs in relation to the product landscape, to drive the development of differentiated offers into our portfolio.
  • Support development and delivery of End Market Consumer insights and diagnostics to inform brand strategy, improve deployment and drive business towards consumer centricity.
  • Supporting marketing strategies for projects, including company websites and social media, marketing campaign effectiveness, marketing plans, campaign results and project recommendations to senior management team.
  • Supporting development of in market consumer, customer and competitor insights by Ensuring delivery of actionable and forward looking insights. Developing and maintaining comprehensive competitive analysis.


Essential Requierements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Brand.
  • Fluent in English.
  • At least 6 to 8 years of work experience, Brand Marketing/Trade/SP&I  in BAT and /or FMCG environment
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen by viewing situations and making decisions from a business perspective. 
  • Strong analytical ability to proactively identify trends, issues and opportunities and translate these into insightful & compelling commercial stories and recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deliver impactful presentations 
  • Ability to influence and create buy-in from senior stakeholders. 
  • Ability and proven experience in high level negotiations that are effective and yield results.
  • Resilient when obstacles are encountered and bounces back from setbacks.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Consumer marketing experience.


Nice to have: Proficiency in using various marketing and analytics tools such as: Marketo, Google Analytics, WordPress, LinkedIn ads, Facebook ads, Twitter ads, Google AdWords, CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and content management systems.
