Key accountabilities:

 

  • To coordinate one shift of manufacturing (SMD/FMD) resources in an efficient manner, in order to deliver required products in quantity and quality according to production demand.
  • Follow up performance KPIs on shift basis (OEE, AMO, Waste, Productivity, Quality and EH&S), analyse losses and root causes and define/implement corrective and preventive action plan to eliminate losses.
  • Monitor product quality and other PI&T/PM&H aspect related to manufacturing.
  • Monitor 5S, arrangement and housekeeping inside and outside SMD.
  • Manage WMS/SFG supply to manufacturing and track efficiently quantity and quality.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance team and R&Rs team to manage efficiently spares/consumable consumption to meet budget.
  • Lead CILs, CLs, Shift DDS, shift hand over and brand changes on machines and track efficiency.
  • Coordinate with maintenance team schedule plant maintenance activities and people.
  • Implement, follow up and improve policies, procedures, guideline and process controls in order to ensure continuous manufacturing performance improvements in the following dimensions: machine efficiency, quality, safety and cost.
  • To support/lead all projects related to manufacturing; machines, product (NPIs/MQS/Trials) and cost saving.
  • Monitor team performance and discipline (BAT and outsources on shop floor), track team attendance and absenteeism, report any deviation to management team and HR.
  • Maintain an effective communication flow (management and shop floor team) to ensure key information are shared in time in full.
  • Develop and maintain effective relation with peers and management to ensure consistency across SMD/FMD.
  • Embed and promote IWS culture and mindset on SMD/FMD. He/She is on the front line on shop floor that will take care of IWS culture
  • Complete SAP related transaction as per OTIF and requirements.
  • Ensure proper recording/process of FGs to WH and return is done physically and on SAP.
  • He/She is fully responsible and accountable on factory security during late shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) and night shift (11:00pm-7:00am). He/She need to have regular rounds on factory site and report any incident to management.

  • It is expected that the jobholder will ensure SMD/FMD manufacture according to production plan.
  • The jobholder will not stop production (excluding any quality/EH&S situation) unless having formal approval from BAT Algeria Head of Operations.
  • The jobholder is responsible for all security and safety aspects related to SMD/FMD. His/Her role is key in reporting any deviation on the above areas.
  • The Jobholder has significant impact on the overall production performance, he/she ensures that products (SMD/FMD) are manufactured according to specifications, in line with hygiene standards and production schedule.
