Purpose Statement:

  • Pro-actively engages with business partners to ensure the right capabilities (compentences, knowledge, behaviour) exist in the organisation.
  • Contributes to developing Operations Function training platforms and solutions and raising the profile of Operations Training & Development to encourage progressive learning process and result based training culture.
  • Contributes to an effective training approach in building the Functional Skills, Knowledge and Behavior requirement for all employees.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Operations Training & Development plans to ensure BAT best practices are consistently applied & integrated into local organisation.
  • Support the development of a coaching and mentoring culture within Operations function
  • Coordinates development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs
  • Assess the return on investment and return on expectations of any training or development programme
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment
  • Develop pro-active solutions on Learning & Development related issues
  • Act as a learning ambassador within the organization
  • Benchmark against external organisations to identify key areas of opportunity to enhance current OE and Change approaches, methodologies, trends and processes
  • Advice and assist top and line management on matters related to OSD, procedures and programmes
  • Cooperation and continuous looking for best practices with other HR counterparts within and outside BAT Romania

 

Competencies required:

  • University degree with 3 – 4 years of working experience in HR in a multinational environment
  • Language skills : proficiency in English
  • Deep HR L&D functional knowledge
  • Flexible, able to cope well with an increasing changing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Process (re) design and development experience
  • IT literate in all common software programmes
