Contract Management Functions

  • Partnering with Senior HRBPs & HRBPs from few entities of BAT Group, to deliver HR services on the ground, in relation to contract employees; hiring, onboarding, orientation, exit interview, performance management, disciplinary actions, and such.
  • Main key point of contact for recruitment agencies and hiring managers, on contractor hiring as part of the on-going HR journey.
  • Makes effective recommendations on the supervision, review, hire and termination of assigned contract employees consistent with overall company policy.
  • Overall supervision of contractors administrative and support personnel used on this contract.
  • Bear primary responsibility for HR procurement, personnel, reporting, and other management related requirements of the contract.
  • Handle contract employees’ enquiries and provide advises on local employment law.
  • Mediate during employee disputes, guide managers to take corrective action and planning, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Provide support to line managers, around HR related issues.
  • Establish strong working relationship with client group as well as the HR community.


Training Functions

  • Responsible in managing and coordinating training request from employees.
  • Selection of training programs aligning with employee development plan.
  • Managing and reviewing of training vendor and involve in negotiation of program cost.
  • In charge of the training calendar.
  • Ownership of sourcing, scheduling and coordinating all in house & external training (soft skills, hard skills, IT/ professional training); including tracking records of employees training; documentations, tracking and processing claims from HRDF.


Global Mobility Function

  • Render mobility-related expert advice to internal stakeholders within the business including liaising with external vendor.
  • Be the liaison between employee and the external vendor to ensure all required documentations are in line with government rules and regulations, and regulatory compliance, related to immigration and tax matters.
  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations and relationships with external vendors.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders involved in the process for each engagement while ensuring the coordination of application submission to the authorities are managed smoothly
