[Purpose of the job]
Works in partnership with the business to:

•Translate strategies into plans and budgets, providing commercial insights relating to future performance
•Manage and coordinate the provision of structured and insightful analysis of financial and non-financial data in order to influence and enable strategic financial decisions.

[Key deliverables]

  1. Support business by providing detailed insight into sales, profitability, and spending
  2. Enhance rigor and insights surrounding sales, e-commerce and customers segmentation by leveraging digital solution
  3. Actively participate in identifying, dimensioning and measuring revenue initiatives.
  4. Plan and monitors the execution of strategy through 
  • Provision of high-quality financial information – including sales and spend commentaries comparing actuals versus forecast/prior year/plan. Responsible for highlighting areas of business drivers/concerns to business partner
  • Participates in month-end close to ensure accurate spend reporting including preparing accruals
  • Maintains the appropriate environment of internal financial controls in all aspects of the business unit
  • Sharing insightful financial analysis showing the financial implications of decisions and helping the business unit get approval for commercially viable business cases, budgets and investment proposals 
  • Build strong financial and commercial awareness within business units and challenge business managers to improve performance 



[Knowledge, Skills and Experience]
• Preferred degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)

• +7 years of experience in finance functions (commercial finance experience preferred) in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment preferred.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/HFM/BI/BCP
• Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen,
• Ability to priorities and multi task in a dynamic environment.
• Good English communication skills[
