We’re seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our Information & Digital Technology (IDT) team as the Lead Manager IDT – ETL Architect.  This role will be focused on leading technology projects and support for financial payment processes associated with trading partner (tobacco retailer & wholesaler) pricing and promotion initiatives.  Our current trade payments technology ecosystem consists of components from our Salesforce.com CRM and AWS big data analytics platforms. The role is a highly visible, integral part of the Commercial IDT team with tremendous career growth opportunities.  Exceptional communication and influencing skills are essential attributes necessary for this role to facilitate, communicate, and deliver business outcomes. 

 

Responsibilities:

In this critical role you will be responsible for ensuring our Trade Marketing pricing, promotion, and trade payment solutions are developed and deployed effectively.

  • Leading new projects and initiatives, from initial interaction with clients during the requirements discovery phase through implementation and deployment of the completed project
  • Leading the technical direction for areas of responsibility by driving decisions and coordinating efforts with our vendor managed service providers
  • Operational excellence and continuous improvement for responsible processes/systems

Education

  • 4-year degree with a focus in computer science, information technology, or related field

 

Experience (Required):

  • Minimum 4 years IT or related experience
  • Strong technical proficiency in the following
    • Modern database systems and ETL technologies
    • SQL programming
    • Cloud computing & big data technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Leadership experience (project, vendor, process)
  • Large, cross-functional project experience requiring extensive business client collaboration
  • Experience in enterprise-level integration tools, techniques, & architecture
  • Familiarity with BI/Analytic tools
  • MS Office proficiency

 

Experience (Preferred):

  • 5+ years IT or related experience
  • Experience/proficiency in the following technologies
    • Salesforce.com
    • Informatica
    • Tidal
    • Mulesoft
    • SAP/ERP integrations
    • MicroStrategy
    • Tableau
  • Agile project delivery experience/proficiency
  • Experience managing multiple development/project teams’ code deployment utilizing a CI/CD pipeline, automated testing platforms, etc.
