JOB SUMMARY:

The Lead Manager Marketing Third-Party eCommerce - is responsible for leading strategic business development, analysis and insight development against third-party eCommerce partners/potential partners to drive volume and profit growth. Provides significant value by applying a comprehensive understanding of the nicotine industry, key business drivers and partners to influence and drive achievement of corporate objectives. Participates in departmental and cross-functional teams and is sought out by others for guidance and inspiration.

Consistently and appropriately challenges existing paradigms and drives for continuous improvement across the organization. Must maintain strong credibility and consistently demonstrate effective leadership, influencing and presentation skills.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Plans, directs, conducts analyses and provides business-oriented insights
  • Develop and implement analyses and reporting activities to drive timely, fit for purpose and actionable business results
  • Develop and provide business review for management regarding business strategy and third-party performance
  • Drive a culture of collaboration, innovation and positive influence on decision making process
  • Pulls and analyzes data for potential third-party e-comm sites and develops an understanding of the commercial partnership potential.
  • Validates each potential third party partner through internal counterparts using defined criteria to understand if partner meets the responsible marketing criteria for Reynolds.
  • Locates and establishes an initial point of contact with each potential third-party eCommerce site after it has been validated through the internal process.
  • Responsible for making initial sales call with identified partners to pitch the partnership program
  • Helps in facilitating a joint conversation with internal legal team and the potential partner to answer questions surrounding marketing practices, compliance, structure, etc
  • Responsible for developing and/or facilitating the contract/partnership package process
  • Executes joint business planning, including set up of products for distribution via wholesale and B2B
  • Responsible for business case, volume forecasting, and budget associated with each partnership
  • Responsible for business updates to internal partners regarding third-party eCommerce performance
  • Responsible for curation of content, digital assets, brand content, and transfer of creative media from Reynolds to third party partners.
  • Responsible for monthly pricing/promotional plans to align with brand activity and campaigns

 

 

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s Degree in Business or related field preferred

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 3+ years in eCommerce and management of 3rd party eCommerce relationships.
  • Ability to understand broader business issues and seek resolution
  • Ability to manage and deliver to client needs
  • Strong collaboration skills, with ability to work with a broad range of disciplines and cross-functionally

 

Special Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentations skills
  • Ability to manage, leverage and analyze data sources, interpret meaningful trends and draw conclusions to deliver actionable business recommendations.
  • Ability to identify business opportunities in Sales and Marketing performance factors to influence execution.
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Requires very strong technical skills that includes proficiency in retail math and eCommerce KPI’s
