BAT DENMARK IS LOOKING FOR A JUNIOR EXECUTIVE IN STRATEGIC PLANNING

FUNCTION: Finance

SALARY RANGE: Competitive salary + excellent benefits

TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fix termed for 12 months. 

LOCATION: Copenhagen, Denmark. 

ROLE OBJECTIVES

As a Junior Executive in Planning, you will take part in the planning process for Nordics, monitor performance of marketing activities, forecast volume sales and share across categories for the assigned market(s).

You will be given responsibility and ownership of projects from the beginning, allowing you to develop your career with support at every stage of the journey, including on-going feedback and coaching.

The role is based in our Nordic head office in Copenhagen close to the Central Station and beautiful harbour. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Analysing sales, market share, and market potential within the assigned market(s)
  • Delivering and Communicating share and volume forecasts across categories
  • Reviewing historical trends, demand drivers, insights and evaluate forecast results.
  • Provide input to our Brand and Trade teams on existing items and new products and evaluate performance.
  • Support business cases with excellent benchmarking
  • Manage monthly planning cycles in close collaboration with Line Manager and colleagues.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Proven track record of high performance and results
  • Experience in Data Analysis, Finance or Marketing
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Conceptual business understanding
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point user
  • Marketing understanding
  • Flexible and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree within the last 3 years.

BENEFICIAL

  • Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages is considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Digital capabilities or experience within Business Intelligence and Analytics are considered an advantage.
  • Forecast planning experience.
