BAT Germany  is looking for an AREA PERFORMANCE MARKETING MANAGER

FUNCTION: Digital & E-Commerce

LOCATION: Hamburg, Germany

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Central Europe Digital Area Team leads digital innovations and drives digital excellence to support the Digital & E-Commerce teams in the end markets of Germany, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Switzerland and Austria to achieve the commercial targets within the BAT E-Commerce Agenda.

Therefore, to drive innovation and new traffic to own E-Commerce opportunities, we are hiring an AREA PERFORMANCE MARKETING MANAGER.

Geographic Scope: Area ( Central Europe) :Germany / Poland / Switzerland / Austria/ Czechia/ Slovakia

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Deliver a traffic strategy and concepts to leverage traffic to own E-Commerce to support the end markets delivering against own E-Commerce Agenda
  • Define and drive Central Europe (CE) Performance & SEO Marketing strategy
  • Innovate on new channels and opportunities for traffic to store
  • Closely collaborate with SEO agencies, publishers and media agencies
  • Lead the pitch for one overarching CE area media agency
  • Build positive relationships with publishers and tech companies to demonstrate new paid opportunities for the area
  • Create digital media toolkits including asset production like banners and videos for all new category products
  • Overwatch business needs of the end markets to support in terms of performance uplift and easy ways of working
  • Bundle KPIs from the end markets for global and regional Senior Stakeholders, focussing on most valuable important metrics
  • Build growth concepts and pitch them towards Senior Partners
  • Leverage knowledge transfer between the different countries in the area
  • Work cross-functionally and agile with brand, legal, activation, research, finance, IT and trade departments within the area

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 4+ years’ experience in performance marketing, preferable in a media agency
  • SEO knowledge is needed
  • Access and connection to European publisher network
  • Very strong conceptional and analytical skills
  • Strong commercial background and experience
  • Strong drive & hands on mentality
  • Ambitious & consumer centric attitude
  • Very strong technical understanding : Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google Analytics
  • Proficient in English, German skills are a plus

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree or equivalent experience or similar education in business administration, (digital) marketing or IT
