Marketing Insights Analyst - 12-months contract - Global Travel Retail, British American Tobacco
We are currently seeking an Marketing Insights Analyst for a 1-year contract position within the Global Travel Retail of British American Tobacco (BAT). As an Marketing Insights Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Insights Lead in driving actionable insights across all categories, including Combustibles, Vapour, Modern Oral, and Heated Products across the world.

ROLE SUMMARY
- Extract data from various sources including offtake, passenger data, competitor intelligence, domestic performance, to support monthly performance updates.
- Summarize industry trends and update competitor activity plans, delivering concise messages to inform business opportunities.
- Facilitate the discussions with cross-functional teams, including Customer Group, Consumer Experience, and Category teams, to gather inputs and align key findings and actions based on the analysis.
- Support issue-based analysis to identify key learnings and business opportunities.
- Support information and inputs collection for market research projects.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- A quick learner with a proactive attitude, eager to acquire new skills and knowledge in a dynamic work environment.
- Open-minded and resilient, able to accept feedback and adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.
- Strong ability to connect the dots and navigate through complex environments, identifying patterns and insights.
- Strong interests in driving business growth through marketing 5Ps.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, consumer insights, or business intelligence, with a solid understanding of analytical tools and methodologies. Candidates with an agency background are welcomed.
- Academic background in business administration or marketing is preferred.
