SENIORITY LEVEL: E-Commerce Executive

FUNCTION: Marketing

LOCATION: Islamabad


The role is responsible for primary custodian for all e-commerce related activities; spanning strategy development to operational execution.  This will require the individual to be hands-on, collaborative across functions, & highly connected to the digital world to develop consumer centric strategies.

Reporting Level: Manager

Geographic Scope: Pakistan


  • Ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of field force resources.
  • Responsible for end-to-end delivery of local, regional and global initiatives required to support and drive the business
  • Develop and implement Full Year ecommerce strategy to deliver key performance indicators. Proactively ideate and define innovative and highly effective digital marketing and eCommerce strategies designed to deliver measurable business results and drive growth through digital. Turn insights and ideas into actionable strategic plans and roadmaps
  • Manage all online activity to drive consumer funnel from awareness to conversions; encompassing all ambits in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversions & re-connect.
  • Reporting results to the team on digital marketing activity (Return on Investment - ROI) and continuously enhances creative direct channels to maximize ROI, and traffic to GMV.
  • Oversee & directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media
  • Provide support in other areas of Media Marketing, PPC, Email Marketing, SEO, Keyword Research, Google Analytics, Website UX, and Paid Social Media.
  • Research market to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve user experience & ecommerce capabilities, including leveraging 3rd party agencies for activations & service provisions


  • Bachelors/Master’s degree with minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
  • Hands-on experience in managing and maintaining e-Commerce websites/portals
  • Knowledgeable of the e-Commerce space that includes marketing strategies, product development, competitive strategies, consumer research, industry trends and usability best practices.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, Social Media Display and affiliate marketing channels
  • Knowledge of Attribution modelling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis and reporting tools
  • Proficiency in software’s like Google Analytics, Power BI, Sales Force, Magento
  • Ability to work at both strategic and activation/ operational level. Hands-on strategist/ self-starter.
  • Strong project management skills & ability to create sophisticated data dashboards
