ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

This role aims to provide technical subject matter expertise across a broad range of End User Services solutions to govern and ensure fit-for-use of the services / solutions. This includes acting as technical gatekeepers to the design, supporting technical operational escalations, ensuring solutions are integrated across the broader IT landscape as well as managing technical changes across the solutions.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Solution design/delivery/operations for multiple components and processes within a system. The solutions/platforms have strategic importance to BAT and contribute to our ability to deliver business outcomes.

Geographic Scope: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Technical management expertise covering a broad range of End User Services solutions including (but not
    limited to):
  • Microsoft O365 platform, O365 Online services, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and security aspect.
  • Enterprise Mobility & Security (EMS), Microsoft Intune.
  • Infrastructure and System integration with different components for authentication, and data processing.
  • Windows 10 as Services, Imaging engineering and roadmap releases
  • Microsoft 365 Endpoint Management, managing cloud, hybrid, and on-premises solution
  • Application Packaging, application life cycle management and software deployment
  • Technology Evergreen management enable features and roadmap release, continuous improvement.
  • Lotus Notes & Dominos infrastructure
  • Windows Desktop Infrastructure

  • Performs a range of technical or professional work activities in order to:
  • Understand overall business process, system capability and configuration
  • Support technical escalations from service operations
  • Provide Quality Assurance of changes to system Job Description
  • Review and assess technical aspects of changes (working with suppliers as required)
  • Manage user access control and security administration for selected applications

  • Own technical knowledge and documentation assets across the EUS solutions
  • Participate in change management governance boards for EUS area as required
  • Implement evergreen & patch management activities across the EUS service portfolio
  • Support security and compliance policies and administration
  • Ensure TOM and SOX compliance for change control

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Experience Required

  • Experience in large global organization using in-sourced and out-sourced IT services and a good working knowledge of the management of global services

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
  • Keeping abreast of developments in the technological and services areas.

  • Good technical depth and understanding across solutions below:
  • Microsoft O365 platform, O365 Online services, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams and security aspect.
  • Enterprise Mobility & Security (EMS), Microsoft Intune.
  • Infrastructure and System integration with different components for authentication, and data processing.

  • Technical Infrastructure Breadth of knowledge of best practice IT Service Management best practice (ITIL)

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Technical background and experience in related solutions, with 6-8 years post graduate work experience in a complex IT Services environment
  • Good understanding of SOX and how it applies within the IT industry
