ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

Key objectives

Market lead and ownership of Trade Marketing & Deployment (TM&D) agenda through appropriate systems and process enablement.

Key expectations:

  • Knowledge of all underlying software of the TM&D systems (e.g. Power BI, Salesforce, etc.).

Key analytical, cross-functional position, that serves as a link between Field Force (FF) and Office teams.

Travel Required

Travels to national meetings at least 3 times a year. Travels to international meetings can occur.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Business

  • End Market lead and ownership of TM&D systems
  • Ensure that all relevant data are of highest quality to enable efficient and effective operation
  • Be Power BI super user/Concordia Data Stew for End Market. Ensure optimal implementation of Power BI data as part of monthly process.
  • TM&D systems management: assist in the upgrades and maintenance of local TM&D systems (Salesforce Masterdata), Recommend changes / enhancements that support business needs
  • Formalise and document the use of the TM&D system i.e. procedures, processes, responsibilities and deliver training to relevant end users.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports that meet business requirements.
  • Execute opportunities for better enablement (usage of systems, procedures, processes, ways of working).
  • Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.

Trade deployment

  • Plan FY bonus structure and KPIs for Field Force, lead quarterly review and present final recommendation to top management.
  • Plan and deploy campaigns and activities related to the sales cycle in cooperation with the FF management, KAM and Trade marketing in relevant systems and procedures
  • Ensure all customer and product data are up to date before beginning of each Sales Cycle (SC).
  • Contribute to deliver the NO SC plan activities in line with strategy and processes to track results
  • Generate required reports from Power BI, Intrack to back office and sales team.

People

  • Drive collaboration among Trade Planners across Nordics end-markets
  • Act as the link between Field Force and Office teams.
  • Contribute actively to deliver team results.
  • Responsible to share best practice in order to deliver high team performance.
  • Manage self-development, performance focusing on continuous improvement to raise the bar in daily work.
  • Contribute actively to implement a coaching culture.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL

Experience Required

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Marketing related functions.
  • Strong analytical, systems and numeracy skills with capability to master complexity.
  • Knowledge of all underlying software of the TM&D systems (e.g. Anaplan, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Good understanding of local TM&D systems landscape, TM&D and Marketing processes.
  • Good appreciation of TM&D field and office operation.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in both Norwegian and English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Pro-active, creative and dynamic.
  • IT skills at advanced level.

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Excellent collaboration skills, good at establishing and maintaining relationships within cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical skills, strategic and commercial mindset.
  • Good IT skills (Tablet, MS Office).
  • Self-going and structured, drives and owns results.
  • Team player.

Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • University degree in Business, Business Information.

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience as from Sales organisation e.g. as Area Manager is a plus.
