LOCATION: Seoul, South Korea


The role is responsible to develop innovative Point of Sale Materials (POSM) development for business needs and drive effective Direct to Consumer (D2C) activities in line with brand initiatives – across launch events, pop-ups, Public Relations (PR), and other offline branded campaigns.

  • Lead the development of innovative and effective activation techniques for consumer communication at the point of sale, grounded into shopper motivation/behavior and opportunities/constraints in different shopper channels
  • Lead the execution of campaign plans working closely with each category squads and relevant functions
  • Lead the development of cycle campaign plans for key missiles, with clear line of sight objectives
  • Represent Trade in integrated Agency briefings to guide the creative process for the implementation of campaigns of key missiles by shopper channel
  • Review and deliver a merchandising solution and create an environment in which you aim for continuous improvement through searching for development of merchandising opportunities and solutions

      • New merchandising solution development
      • Retail media landscape plan
      • MD Fee tracking & management
      • Local deal management
    • Cycle POSM
      • Cycle POSM development & deployment plan
      • Cycle Planogram (POG) Principles & Objectives
  • Work cohesively with brand and agencies to drive cycle and trade activities execution on time in full
  • Lead D2C activities – offline events & PR in line with key business initiatives and campaigns


Experience Required

  • At least 5 years’ experience in trade marketing related roles within BAT or other Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and multiple projects, often with tight deadlines
  • Ability to work proactively to identify trends, issues and opportunities and find the supporting data to create compelling commercial stories and recommendations
  • Proven track record of on time in full delivery
  • Solid analytical skills and understanding of market and customer dynamics
  • Ability to translate customer dynamics into commercial selling tools
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Korean
  • Ability to influence and demonstrate persuasion skills
  • High level of attention to detail


  • Experience in Trade Marketing from FMCG/Tobacco industry
