ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Key objectives and expectations from this role:
Business/Software Analyst will be responsible for fleshing out mobile application (native for Android and PWA for iOS) requirements within the end-to-end vision and roadmap of Product Owner/Product Manager. This role main area of focus will be performing detailed requirement analysis, documenting requirements and business processes.

The direct impact of this role on the team or organization:
End-to-end ownership of requirements traceability and documentation framework, as well as the pipeline setup in Azure DevOps (Product Backlog structure). Being accountable over what should have been documented and where, ensuring accurate control processes are in place and the requirements are always up to date. Lead the process of eliciting requirements which includes engaging with various departments regularly to get al inputs needed to complete the analysis.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Elicit and document business requirements with stakeholders using a range of techniques, conducting feasibility studies, usability requirements analysis
  • Identify and obtain agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business
  • Responsible for transferring business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria, collecting these in the Product Backlog in Azure DevOps and co-own Backlog Refinement sessions with the Product Owner.
  • Ensure existing and new business processes are enabled and optimised in the best way possible, actively providing input to build standard methodologies in DBS and other internal functions.
  • Provide ad-hoc business analysis and process mapping documentation when required to technical/non-technical collaborators
  • Collaborate with all partners and team members in the software development process and business units (e.g., R&D, Product Development, LEX, SP&I, Marketing) to get all the inputs required to complete requirements analysis
  • Identifying and raising issues, process or scope gaps and recommend solutions/mitigations
  • Pro-actively optimize WoW and contribute to agile ceremonies – sprint daily, planning, retrospective and review

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Do you know the techniques used to elicit requirements?
  • Do you have experience in working with development & UX/UI through multiple third-party suppliers?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

  • University degree and 7+ years of relevant professional experience in complex organization on a global scale
  • Extensive experience in planning business analysis works, activities and deliverables within sophisticated projects
  • Vast experience in requirements documentation, decomposition and backlog preparation
  • Experience in solution design, scope and change management; Experience in defining technical requirements and agile ways of working
  • Experience in eliciting requirements for new products or new features in existing products
  • Cloud-first applications, Android and IOS Mobile, Web application (PWA) knowledge
  • Requirements management using Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence
  • Understanding of XML and JSON structures, REST and SOAP, DDD approach
