WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Leading the strategic direction of the business’ growth algorithm across multiple categories to impact growth across all key metrics (volumes, share, NTO and GM etc)
  • Drive performance & investment optimization across categories, brand portfolio, geographic regions, channel & investment levers by:
    • Analyzing and providing diagnostics of our business and portfolio health through deep dives & insights, performance tracking and investment mix review across various key metrics and data sources (volumes, share, NTO and GM etc)
    • Identifying and highlighting risks (competitive intel, regulatory, external impact) and proposing risk mitigation plans
    • Uncovering new opportunities for growth across Reynolds’ investment levers
    • Recommending resource prioritization and the right investment mix by effectively partnering with the respective functional experts to drive interventions, response plans and solutions
    • Understanding the Commercial and Marketing Cycle Planning Process
    • Presenting recommendations and strategy across Senior Stakeholders in the business
  • Development of an investment/marketing mix model design and the delivery, in collaboration with Finance and Data Science, of a data-driven model that drives investment and performance optimization
  • Talent Development of three direct reports and two external DBS (Data Hub) support - Lead team, monitor/coach/evaluate performance, develop and maintain both succession and strategic workforce planning

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Strategy, Commercial Finance, Insights, Analytics or Category Growth Management
  • Strong understanding of commercial & category management, channels, portfolio strategy, consumer behavior & insights
  • Sound knowledge of project management principles, and able to manage multiple workstreams across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong problem solving- ability to manage, leverage and analyze data sources, interpret meaningful trends and draw conclusions to deliver actionable business recommendations
  • Ability to synthesize insights into collaborative storytelling and data visualization at a strategic & senior leadership level 
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment while holding self/others accountable
  • Strong verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
  • BA/BS degree required; Master’s degree preferred
