Why Research & Development?

We never stand still. We are always innovating, experimenting, and delivering new solutions. This is why our Research and Development is so important to the business, and we are investing and accelerating our activities to generate new science and innovation. Today, we operate in a broad spectrum of scientific fields including molecular biology, toxicology and chemistry, and it is that breadth of expertise which fuels the relentless innovation and learning that sets us apart as an industry leader. Globally, we employ more than 1500 R&D specialists, many of whom are focused on research and development of New Category products. Our main R&D hub is based in Southampton in the UK and is supported by R&D teams across the world.

What could you be doing?

We believe that the most important ingredient for success is our people! An inspired culture of curious, agile and forward-thinking professionals will always be our most competitive differentiation. The world of scientific research is built upon different perspectives and approaches that come together to form our outlook as well as mould our future.
