This internship position offers the opportunity to work closely with BAT's Legal team, supporting contractual, compliance, and day-to-day legal activities in collaboration with the Legal Executive and under the direct supervision of the Head of Legal.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure timely execution of planned launches and activities while providing legal support and risk assessment.
• Support contract lifecycle management, ensuring timely preparation, review, and delivery of contracts in the correct format.
• Contribute to compliance and legal risk management by analyzing laws, regulations, and industry trends, and proposing practical legal solutions.
• Assist in maintaining organized legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and corporate records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Support the Legal team with various tasks, such as drafting legal documents, preparing reports and presentations, and engaging with the local market team to align on legal matters.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law - mandatory.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience – preferably in FMCG, multinational, consulting, or legal firms.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English – both written and spoken; Russian is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Time management, organization, and effective communication.
