British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Digital Treasury & Banking Manager in London
Digital Treasury & Banking (DT&B) is responsible for developing, proposing and implementing the Group's DT&B strategy and relationship management across relevant internal stakeholders internally and BAT’s Core transactional Banking and non-Banking service partners.
This is a fixed-term position, with a contract running through to the end of December 2026.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Actively supporting the Head of Digital Treasury & Banking (DT&B) to shape and implement the Groups DT&B strategy covering working capital, banking and payments, digital innovation, and Transaction Banking. Transaction banking covers all areas of bank accounts, liquidity structures and related services.
- Executing selection (e.g. RFPs) and implementation of the procured services or products, and managing the ongoing cost or services and relationships with BAT’s banks and service partners.
- Implementation of efficient and effective (and commercial) banking and digital solutions across regions and globally; including Bank Account Management, Payables (P2P) and Receivables (O2C);
- Identifying and driving opportunities for further optimisation and innovation in DT&B to support the transformation and growth agendas of the Group
- Supporting identification, assessment and selection (e.g. PoC, RFP) of solutions and partners for traditional and new / digital services in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage DT&B relationships with partners, including bank partners, service and technology suppliers to ensure delivery of world-class transactional banking, infrastructure and payment solutions.
What are we looking for?
- University degree
- CIMA / ACCA or AMCT Treasury qualification (desired)
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent analytical skills
- Acknowledged and proven leadership skills, specifically in managing intra-departmental and intra-subsidiary relations
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Understanding of the fundamental concepts of international treasury management and corporate financial management, with practical experience in a global enterprise.
- Direct experience of contributing to best practice for global Cash & Banking solutions (including good understanding of technologies).
