British American Tobacco Azerbaijan has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manufacturing Manager in Aghdam.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Management of overall control over contract manufacturing on production site
• Ensuring proper quality of BAT finished goods in compliance with the BAT specifications and standards requirements
• Ensuring of materials and semi-FGs quality control in compliance with BAT standards. Provide issue partner concern to BAT-Samarkand Factory
• Management of products specification process (FG, semi FG and materials) and proper data management are in place in accordance with BAT quality and legal standards prior first production
• Providing supervision and coaching of local quality lab and production team and regular assessment of physical, chemical and visual parameters of the cigarettes by the specialists of BAT Quality Assurance department
• Monitor raw materials and wrapping materials waste performance and ensure the right level of interaction with key collaborators to implement BAT Best Practice solutions and improvement plans as required
• Management of non-conforming products output investigation, root cause analyses, development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions together with Tabaterra factory specialists
• Implement and support PI&T (Product Integrity and Traceability) and P&HM (Pest and Hygiene Management) programs for BAT products produced by Tabaterra factory
• Participation in creation and in improvement of the technological procedures and instructions to ensure high quality finished goods production and compliance to BAT standards and policies
• Ensuring the new products and processes qualification and further implementation for new technologies, materials and equipment as per BAT standards and policies
• Compiling and reporting all performance data for the designated review forums and partners in BAT
• Participation in drawing up plans for emergency and extreme situations (BAT Risk assessment) and advises the management in time
What are we looking for?
• Degree level or equivalent experience in a science or applied science
• 2-3-year experience in either factory shop floor or supply chain quality – preferable
• Good knowledge of tobacco products and quality management principles.
• Experience in working across multiple functions/projects is preferred
• Influencing, negotiation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• English knowledge required at least on Intermediate level, Russian or Azerbaijani language knowledge is a must.
