REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a: Director – Growth Management Data & Capabilities in Winston-Salem, NC

The Director will support the building and maintaining of data and capabilities that enable the advanced analytical approaches Reynolds uses in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems and analytical tools that provide data and strategic insights to drive revenue, profits, and share growth.

Lead and support the capabilities and advanced analytical tools enabling the strategies and tactics to deliver category-leading revenue, profit, and share of market programs. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supports plans to drive profitable multi-year and annual revenue growth
  • Leads and supports a robust Growth Management capability building and advanced analytical systems agenda enabling the delivery of the organization’s goals in changing and dynamic competitive landscape
  • Leads the building, deploying, and managing of Growth Management systems, capabilities, and advanced analytical approaches to support the acceleration of NTO growth and market share gains
  • Leads the project management support of the building, deploying, and managing of Growth Management systems, capabilities, and advanced analytical approaches 
  • Supports the running, maintenance, and enhancement of the company’s current retail price & share modeling efforts
  • Support, implement, and run a wide array of analytical approaches and modeling, leveraging technological resources inclusive of regression engines, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and scenario planning modules
  • Leverage vast datasets of shipments, pricing, retail offtake, and transaction-level data to develop critical business intelligence and insights, with a specific focus on the continued development, analytical approaches, and tools related to segment and category performance
  • Collaborate with other Strategy, Retail Planning, Commercial Finance, Trade, Data Science, and Consumer Marketing associates to ensure aligned project plans for capabilities and tools
  • Supports the alignment of Growth Management with the parent company’s Global Revenue Sustainability program

What are we looking for? 

  • Curious, self-starter that drives results in a dynamic environment and acts with appropriate urgency
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills supporting translating insights into actionable recommendations
  • Project Management, LEAN, Agile Software Development, Data Management experience
  • Develop presentations, summarized to appropriate level/audience
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
  • Proven track record of project management
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate critical takeaways through impactful storytelling
  • Up to 5 years of experience leading and supporting systems related to planning, modeling, analyzing, and interpreting sales and promotion data sets
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing successful talent development initiatives
  • BA/BS degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Benefit Information

The following is a general summary of the competitive compensation and benefit plans we offer:

·401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.

oCompany matches 100 percent of employee pre-tax/Roth (401k) contributions up to six percent

oCompany contributes an additional three percent to 401(k) whether employee participates or not
