Part of BAT LANCAR group, BAT Mexico employs over 2,200 people across departments such as Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations, Legal, Corporate and Regulatory Affairs, and IT, within a regional cluster of 34 countries, including Colombia, Venezuela, Central America, and the Caribbean.

We operate a tobacco processing plant in Tepic, Nayarit, and two factories in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Our purpose is to create A Better Tomorrow™ with a vision to Build a Smokeless world – one where smokers have migrated from cigarettes to smokeless alternatives.

Fun fact, in 2024 BAT Mexico celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Our corporate office is located in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León. It features an open, modern, and collaborative design.

Participants experience three rotations within their function over the course of 18 months; this includes world-class training and our two-week Graduate Academy—one week of which takes place in London—where you'll connect with our Global Graduate community.

How do you find your GG programme?

The GG programme has been a challenging and rewarding journey, giving me a full perspective of BAT’s operations from logistics and finance to strategic decision-making, while constantly pushing me beyond my comfort zone. Each experience has been a hands-on lesson in driving real business impact and has allowed me to develop new, challenging skills in a journey of continuous learning.

What’s your highlight of the programme?

For me, the highlight has been leading real projects that directly impact the business and seeing how my analysis drives operational efficiency. Collaborating with a broad network of stakeholders has been incredibly inspiring, giving me a true sense of belonging to a global business and community. Another memorable highlight was attending the BAT GG Academy, visiting HQ, and connecting with fellow graduates to share perspectives and truly feel how we are all part of the same BAT.
