British American Tobacco Paraguay has an exciting opportunity for a Finance SeniorAnalystin Asunción, Paraguay
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage, consolidate, and monitor the company's operating expense budget, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning and business decision-making.
- Prepare, consolidate, and report monthly and quarterly financial information, including financial statements, budget performance, capital expenditures, tax reconciliations, and dividend-related reporting.
- Oversee treasury and working capital management activities, including cash flow monitoring, supplier payment processes, accounts receivable follow-up, collections, customer credit exposure, and guarantees.
- Act as a key liaison across Finance functions, coordinating activities between Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Commercial Finance, and external service providers to ensure efficient execution of financial processes.
- Ensure the accurate administration of pricing, margins, commercial conditions, customer incentives, rebates, and distributor reimbursement processes, in line with approved business strategies.
- Coordinate the review and maintenance of customer and supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with commercial, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor compliance with corporate policies, governance requirements, and internal controls, including annual certification processes and control reporting (Navigator).
- Oversee inventory-related financial controls, including the analysis and reporting of inventory variances and the implementation of corrective actions when required.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, including FP&A, Commercial Finance, Accounting, or Treasury activities.
- Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced English level (B2+ or higher).
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications, with experience in ERP and financial reporting systems.
- Strong business partnering, commercial acumen, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and self-management skills.
