British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Corporate Finance Manager – Americas And Europe in London
The key objectives of the role:
- Drive improved Cash and Working capital through enhanced forecasting and better resource allocation.
- Business partnering and resource allocation on projects impacting working capital and cash.
- Financial insights and Analytics –Supporting the region with adhoc analysis as required including monthly forecasting and regular actual reviews. Tracking and reviewing overheads and Other Income/Expense
- Supporting AME Corporate Finance Controller with driving SOP cycle for AME
- Support other change projects in the region as required
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as a strategic business partner to the regional leadership team;
- Support delivery of AME Financial targets by performing regular analysis of delivery against the plan
- Proactively assist in resource allocation, planning, and reporting to ensure the achievement of key financial metrics aligned with corporate objectives
- Collaboration with global FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) understanding performance drivers.
- Financial Insights and Analytics
- Spearhead and lead initiatives to enhance Working Capital (WC) analytics and drive data‑driven improvements across the organization
- Closely collaborate with DRBUs (Direct Reporting Business Units / Areas), Regional Operations, and GBS (Global Business Services) to develop a robust framework and implement strategies to achieve a substantial enhancement in regional working capital management
- Orchestrating SOP & RLT cycles at Regional level
What are we looking for?
- Degree educated with relevant professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA / MBA)
- Relevant, demonstrable experience in a senior financial accounting / corporate finance role in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Track record of successfully driving results and delivering financial improvements; Demonstrable track record of taking ownership of key responsibilities and delivering on time in full to good level of quality
- Demonstrable experience and evidence of material and proactive process improvement and enhancement
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, make sound financial decisions, and act as an influential and change maker;
- Exceptional business partnering skills with the capability to communicate effectively within a matrix environment;
- Ambitious, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Excellent analytical skills
