British American Tobacco Polandhas an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Compliance Specialistin Warsaw
The Supply Chain Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing independent and objective evaluations of the company's supply chain activities are executed in line with the compliance rules. The role focuses on ensuring working together with the supply chain managers and logistics managers to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements & BAT Standards by ensuring compliance audits / annual process are executed on time by respective owners and action plans are delivered on time and in full.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Internal Controls Evaluation
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate the adequacy of controls execution to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations (i.e. SOX).
2. CMA Management
- Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls about the different CMAs in the area, and flag risks of any breach on them.
- Coordinate with the different workstream owners for compliance execution.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Coordinated with supply chain managers and logistics managers for detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of audit processes, findings, and follow-up actions.
- Collaboration and Advisory
- Work closely with supply chain managers and logistics managers to discuss audit findings and agree on corrective actions.
- Promote awareness and understanding of internal controls and risk management across supply chain.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
- Desire of minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, audit fields or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proactive and able to take initiative.
