The Insights & Foresights Senior Manager – Vapor Insights provides thought leadership and analytical support related to consumer-based data assets across key stakeholders within Insights & Foresights, Consumer Marketing, Business Planning & Strategy, CX/Trade Marketing, Revenue Growth Management and Activation organizations.
Responsible for driving deep understanding of the Vapor consumer landscape and portfolio/cross-category consumer dynamics including industry trends, poly-use, shopper behavior, consumer journeys, attitudes, needs states and behaviors to drive volume and profit growth. Provides significant value by applying a comprehensive understanding of the nicotine industry, business drivers and integration of a ‘consumer-led’ focus to support corporate objectives.
Participates in departmental and cross-functional teams and is sought out by others for guidance and inspiration.
Consistently and appropriately challenges existing paradigms and drives for continuous improvement across the organization. Must maintain strong credibility and consistently demonstrate effective leadership, influencing and presentation skills.
The position will report to the Director – Consumer Insights – Vapor.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Plans, advises, conducts primary quantitative and qualitative research and analyses, and provides business-oriented insights
- Leverages data assets (Integrated Brand Tracking, Performance, Longitudinal Tracking, Forecast/Glidepath, etc.) to synthesize comprehensive narratives to inform and support portfolio and Vapor category insights supporting cross-functional stakeholders including IBPM (Integrated Business Planning), Strategy, Forecasting/Glidepath, Trade/CX and Marketing/Reynolds Leadership Team.
- Develops and integrates Portfolio and Vapor category narratives for Category Quarterly Insights Reviews
- Develops and ensures Vapor consumer inputs guide Atlas/Glidepath modeling
- Identifies and evolves planning to integrate consumer-focused portfolio and category insights more broadly with key stakeholders within the organization
- Develops fit-for-purpose learning plans to support category insights aligned to corporate objectives, marketing strategies and future growth initiatives providing deep understanding of the consumer dynamics within the Vapor landscape.

What are we looking for?
- 5-7+ years in consumer market research, Strategy & Planning and/or related field. CPG experience preferred; Nicotine industry experience a plus
- Ability to understand broader business issues and seek resolution
- Ability to manage, leverage and analyze data sources, interpret meaningful trends and draw conclusions to deliver actionable business recommendations.
- Ability to manage and deliver to client needs
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to work with a broad range of disciplines and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong verbal/written communication, data visualization and presentations skills
- Storytelling capabilities with action-oriented recommendations
- Qualitative & Quantitative Consumer methodologies and analytics experience
- Vendor management
- Commercial Tools (Retail Sales Data – Circana (IRI)/Nielsen, Microstrategy), Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Market Research, or related field preferred
