British American Tobacco New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planning Manager at New Zealand!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Create and manage sales forecasts using historical data, market trends, and team input.
- Monitor and control inventory to meet demand while avoiding overstock or shortages.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain teams for accurate forecasting.
- Analyse sales trends and market data to improve forecast accuracy.
- Report on forecast accuracy, stock levels, and planning issues regularly.
- Use tools like Alteryx to manage planning systems and ensure data accuracy.
- Continuously improve forecasting processes and tools.
- Support team goals by sharing updates, building good working relationships, and contributing to team success.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in data analysis, demand planning, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing business insights.
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and Power Query.
- Experience with tools like Alteryx and MicroStrategy is a plus.
- Able to work independently and take initiative in solving planning problems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills across different departments.
- Organized and structured, with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.
