British American Tobacco New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for a Key Accounts Manager in Auckland!
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Develop, manage, and implement Key Account distribution channel plans, strategies, and Trading Terms architecture.
- Build and maintain sustainable, profitable relationships with key accounts to drive commercial benefits.
- Implement BATNZ and NVT brand plans, ensuring alignment with channel strategies.
- Lead the development and discussion of Trading Terms agreements with key accounts.
- Manage account performance by analyzing sales data and identifying distribution opportunities.
- Review and manage trade spend to ensure maximum return on investment and compliance with audit requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Key Account team to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Regularly evaluate strategies and plans to meet delivery dates and drive business results.
What are we looking for?
- Preferably 4+ years of Account/Category management experience in an FMCG environment.
- Proven leadership experience with managing teams and coaching staff.
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal and written/spoken communication skills.
- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general computer skills.
- 2+ years in a Senior Account Management role, preferably in FMCG.
- Experience with New Categories (e.g., vaping) is preferred.
