British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Investment Specialist in Bucharest
The objective of this role is to enable business decisions around potential investment opportunities, based on reliable information and key projects, leading to actionable recommendations. Ensure robust investment processes are well integrated across the area, seeking simplicity and effectiveness in the decision-making process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting and analysis in order to provide value adding, commercially focused insights to the Marketing functions.
- Commercial, financial, and legal due diligence, preparation of investment reports.
- Analyse variances and perform financial modelling to accurately reflect the impact of proposed strategies on the operating results of the business in order to support informed business decisions.
- Own and lead Investment planning process, including reporting cycles, actuals and forecast, performance monitoring delivering appropriate reports and ensuring database integrity and accuracy.
- Prepare and deliver financial information for Budget Review, Forecasts and Actual results in line with timelines, company procedures and controls.
- Lead the alignment and information support for the local and global stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong partnership with internal stakeholders, provide technical support to other departments, collaborate with internal and external auditors as per need.
- Ensure market adherence to SOx, Internal Controls, Internal Governance Frameworks, Reporting and system related submissions.
- Act as the key point of contact for the local teams and for the Global Business Service provider;
- Provide relevant insights that will help prepare the company for next level of growth.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics.
- Minimum 2 years of similar experience in FMCG industry or in a dynamic operating environment.
- Highly developed numerical/analytical skills: from building a frame of analysis to interpreting it and then presenting conclusions in a simplified way.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems (i.e. SAP / BI /BPC).
- Strong analytical skills, proactive, open to challenge existing ways of working and generate/implement new ideas, good communication skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English and Romanian.
