British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for an Area Operations Finance Manager in Bucharest
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Contribute to control, reporting and optimization of SEE Area cost of sales to deliver Area profit targets
- Support the SEE Operations Finance Controller and SEE productivity agenda by supporting effective coordination of projects’ portfolio within SEE area, monitoring implementation progress against the plan and ensure action plans in place to mitigate identified risks
- Support in management and control activities related to resource allocation and monitor execution of operations capex within the Area
- Provide relevant data and insights on working capital/cash release across the SEE Area
- Promote the understanding of COS and related productivity savings realization within the Area
- Liaise with supply chain planning and the commercial units to ensure supply is managed with an appropriate balance of cost management, stock risk and agility
- Proactively use data and insights to help identification and pursue for savings from non-product cost areas, including optimization of indirect tax and duties
- Support to Area Ops team in benchmarking with other factories / markets and the application of best practices
- Contribute to compliance within control environment in SEE factories and supply chain
- Support the SEE Area Ops team with related ESG reporting
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- ACCA/CIMA/qualified accountant would be an advantage
- Good understanding and/or practice of continuous improvement and productivity methods (eg: IWS, Lean, 6Sigma)
- Minimum 5 years of similar experience within Finance and/or Ops Finance in a dynamic operating environment.
- Functional expertise in the area of General Finance, Accounting, Reporting
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, and good knowledge of SAP, Power BI.
- Strong Business Acumen and relevant working experience in multinational matrix organizations, managing complex above-market financial reporting and planning
- Good understanding of financial reporting and relevant technologies that supports the underlying operations and finance processes
- Solution mindset, think outside the box, positive attitude, and drive for results, Communication and collaboration cross functional and cross teams
- Very good analytical and consolidation skills
- Fluent in oral and written English and Romanian.
