BAT PROCUREMENT TEAM IS LOOKING FOR A SOURCING EXECUTIVE

REPORTS TO: Senior Sourcing Manager

FUNCTION: Procurement, Source to Settle 

SALARY RANGE: Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits + Market leading bonus

LOCATION: Selangor, Malaysia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Sourcing Executive role will be supporting the operational delivery of the procurement process operated by GBS working as EMOM (End Market Operating Model) for APMEA West (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia and others)    

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Key Accountabilities:

Analyze External Supply Market

  • To work alongside with End Market to find potential suppliers or analyse the market
  • To understand supply and market trends, as well as a view on the dynamics and changes in the market in the medium term.
  • To have in depth understanding of supply industry trends as well as the levers and drivers of cost in the relevant industry.

Support to perform Strategic Sourcing

  • To assist to develop, deploy and manage the communications with the supply market in accordance with the approach identified in the sourcing strategy.
  • To deploy various sourcing events, subsequent selection process and facilitate with the objective of arriving at the best achievable result, based on agreed end market requirements.

Data Updates/Performance Tracking (Reporting)

  • Deck Preparation/Meeting Management–
    • Any reports from the systems to be extracted and feed for any meeting to show the status etc. Meeting minutes to be kept and published, followed up and closed, etc.
  • Coupa & WAPT reports to be extracted, communicated, actions to be followed up such as data cleansing etc.
  • Assist to Create Content/catalog and analyze the opportunity of new content for the  

Continuous Improvement

  • Support to drive alignment of innovation initiatives across the region
  • Support operational delivery of the end-to-end process, while creating alignment and consistency across process and across markets
  • Support and provide appropriate challenge to the SLA definition and agreement process and drive achievement of SLAs Support

Relationship

  • Engage with the end market procurement team to meet objectives
  • Develop and maintain partner centric relationship both with internal and external stakeholder across the organization and DRBUs with effective communication  

System knowledge

  • Experience using several reporting tools like COUPA AIC, Celonis, Macro etc will be preferred
  • Working experience with COUPA, SAP will be an advantage

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication, people management and process improvement skills as well as ability to strengthen relationships professionally
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international values
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
  • Minimum Qualifications: At least a Diploma with focus on related areas, or preferable combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of continuous work experience in the operational delivery of these services, ideally in a shared service center, with leadership experience in an organization of similar scale and complexity of services
