The Corporate Campaigns team shapes BAT’s corporate narrative, ensuring that every message we deliver is clear, credible, and impactful. Our team’s mission is to define, articulate, and amplify BAT’s own voice. As a global team, we will provide the markets with the range of different advertising campaigns, tools, content, and messaging to ensure that the company is seen as a thought leader, a responsible innovator, and a credible stakeholder in the future of reduced-risk products globally.
The objective of this role is to lead the planning and execution of content strategies that align with corporate and regulatory goals, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across all communication platforms.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing content strategies for corporate campaigning that support company’s business goals and help to build a more front-footed communications program.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging consistency across all platforms.
- Coordinating with stakeholders from regions and end markets to ensure the messaging is relevant for local deployment.
- Managing multiple content projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Liaising with external agencies, freelancers, and other third-party vendors as necessary to produce high-quality content.
- Developing and managing an editorial calendar that aligns with business priorities and product launches.
- Fostering relationships with key stakeholders to enhance content effectiveness.
- Manage and analyse campaign measurement and metrics to assess the campaign performance.
- Input the team with the findings and insights from performance measurement for continuous improvements.
What are we looking for?
- Degree qualification in Marketing, Business, Politics or a related field;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in content management, corporate communications, or a related role, preferably within a large multinational corporation;
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and best practices;
- Experience in developing corporate or products PR campaigns through advertisement and media engagement;
- Experience and/or deep understanding of ways of working in end markets to support in-market campaign deployment;
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams;
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and relevant platforms such as websites and social media, and digital analytic tools.
